Hi there, I’m Modar

Tutoring has been a big part of my life for over 10 years, and it remains one of the most rewarding things I do. I have worked with students across a broad range of ages and levels, including 7+, 11+, Common Entrance, GCSE and A-Level. Over the years, I have supported students with exam preparation, subject confidence, revision strategy and building stronger academic foundations.

What I value most about tutoring is that it is personal. Every student is different, and good teaching is not just about explaining content. It is about understanding how a student thinks, where they are struggling, what is affecting their confidence, and how to help them move forward in a way that feels manageable and encouraging. I know how overwhelming education can sometimes feel, especially in a competitive environment, and I believe students do best when they feel both supported and challenged.

I started Wise Tuition because I wanted to build something that reflects those values: thoughtful, high-quality tuition that is tailored to the individual student. My aim is to work with like-minded tutors who care about teaching, building strong relationships with students, and helping them develop academically and in confidence.

My academic background includes bioscience, human nutrition and medicine. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Bioscience from London South Bank University, an MSc in Human Nutrition from the University of Surrey, and an MBBS from King’s College London. Outside of work, I enjoy calisthenics, cycling and staying active.
